About the Bulb Choice

The Starter and Night & Day packages include the Overnight Tornado as the standard overnight bulb. With the Jackhammer Amplifier that's included in every package, it reaches up to 8 feet — enough to place it anywhere in the room, or to cover two people in the same bed.

The Crystal Hammer option brings the package price down $200. It does the same job — runs your programs while you sleep, practically silent, with zero heat — with shorter reach: up to 6 feet with the Jackhammer Amplifier. If the bulb will sit close to where you sleep, the Crystal Hammer covers you. If you want the freedom to place it anywhere, or reach for two, the extra range is what the Overnight Tornado's $200 buys — and it's why we recommend it for most people.
